Groups

We can’t do life alone.

We believe that growing in our relationship with the Lord happens best in a small group setting.  The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone.  We must be intentional about finding and connecting with other believers.

All of our groups are a great way to meet people, make friends, get closer to God, and find real answers for life questions.  As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, receive encouragement and accountability from others, we then have the opportunity to make a difference in the world and make disciples who make disciples.

Our groups are structured in a way that allow for relationships to be built.  Some of our groups involve fun activities, some are based around recreational activities, and some focus on deep Bible studies.

We run our system of groups on a semester schedule, but they are open for anyone to attend anytime during the semester.  The winter/spring semester runs from January-April, the spring semester runs from May-July, and the fall semester runs from September-December.

Join a Group

We publish a Connect Catalog every semester that lists all of our groups for that semester.  The catalog is self-directing, meaning that you can find a group in the catalog that you personally connect with and jump in.

Seminars

Discerning the Voice of God

Wed : once : 4/11 : 6-9pm : B.208

Where ever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way that you will understand. Often times we wonder if we are hearing from God or if it is our thoughts. This class will give you some helpful tools to hear the voice of God. Your prayer life will be energized, and in engaging these tools, you will be able to hear God more clearly.

Frequency: Tune in. Hear God.

Wed : weekly : 4/18-5/30 : 6:30-8:30pm : B.205

God is speaking.  Do you know how to hear Him?  Like a radio host broadcasting on the airwaves, God speaks all the time.  But, receiving requires tuning in to the right frequency.  Knowing how to hear the voice of God changes everything!

Need childcare while attending a group?

We want to make our environment as easy as possible for people to attend, and we know that figuring out what to do with the kiddos can be a challenge.  That is why Covenant offers free on-campus childcare as well as reimbursement for off-campus childcare for people attending many of our small groups.  For more information on these programs, click here or refer to the “childcare” section of the Connect Catalog.  Click here to register for on-site childcare.

LEAD A GROUP

The process for becoming a small group leader often begins through participation in a small group and apprenticing with an established leader.  The next step is to attend a free market new leader orientation session.
